I live in an apartment building and hung this outside my door. It scared my dog and some of my neighbors while a few of them just laughed at it. It could be a little loud so I only operate it on evenings where thereβs less foot traffic. Highly recommended! Such a unique find. I have yet to see someone who bought this in our building but I am so glad to be the first.

Several reviews mention the motion sensor not being very sensitive but we found it to be very responsive provided there was adequate light. This actually made a lot of sense when you think about it. As much as you might want to put it in a dark space to increase the surprise factor, it does need light to sense motion as it doesn’t have night vision (possible improvement manufacturers?)It’s a creepy little thing but do pay attention to the dimensions as it is not particularly large. Happy Halloween!

This is the nearest Halloween guy. We had it at our campsite last weekend for trick or treating. Kids love it … only one kid seemed scared. Most seemed fascinated and stood watching it! I did get this with a $5 discount which it made it worth it.

Fantastic Halloween animated skeleton in prison uniform trying to break out of prison. Motion sensor spot on with prison skeleton yelling various phrases such as “Get me Outta Here.” Fun addition to my Halloween animatronics. Runs on three AAA batteries-not included.

This guy is really small – a foot tall, but is loud and says cute things. The motion detection works very well – he scared my son at one point! I purchased him to put in our haunted house, but it was so loud with other animatronics going that you couldnβt hear him. Still, at home without the other animatronics, it was a cute addition for the price I paid.

This is my favorite Halloween Character,gadget. Responds to motion every time yet doesn’t go off to wind, lizards or small moving objects just people. He’s funny and entertaining but not overly scary for the small children like some of my other Halloween gadgets I have. He’s perfect.
