Although listed for older kids, my just-turned 2-year-old grandson has been fascinated by dinosaurs since watching an old Disney movie several months ago. To help with his speech development skills, his parents bought him a children’s book of dinosaurs and he can recognize a T rex, Stegosaurus, triceratops, Spinosaurus, Carnotaurus, etc. I bought this set for him as he enjoys playing with the miniature dinosaur sets he had received as part of the dinosaur book. For his recent second birthday I bought these hand puppets for him and he absolutely loves playing with them. He likes toys that are red and favors the Carnotaurus, but loves them all. Initially, I worried the puppets were a bit too realistic and scary, but that never seemed to bother him. They are soft and supple, and although too big for his hands now it does not seem to bother him at all. Having four puppets, he will always hand me a puppet to play along with him. The colors are brilliant as well as well done. The detailed features are sharp and add to the realism.He enjoyed them so much, that I purchased another set of dinosaur puppets (Small Dinosaur Hand Puppets Toys for Kids 3-5, Geyiie Soft Toddler Dinosaur Head Puppets with Roaring Sounds Motion Gestures) made by the same company. He goes between these two sets all day long.This product is well made and well worth the price.
