High quality. The size of the puppet is a similar size to regular dolls, so I was able to purchase a princess doll dress that fit her perfectly. For my purposes, I replaced the strings with elastic ribbon on the head and arms, and removed the foot strings. This makes it easier for children to operate.

Great puppet! We gave it to our 3 & 4 year old. Yes, they tangled it quickly, but it was easy to fix. Even after a week with the two preschoolers, we simple untied the strings to reset the puppets. There is a release thing-a-ma-jig on the handle which was very helpful.

We gave this to our daughter (who likes ventriloquism and puppetry) for her 8th birthday and she loved it. I was worried it would be too small but the size is perfect for her to maneuver.

The girls were thrilled with them until the strings became so tangled up. This happened within a couple of hours of getting the puppets. They couldn’t untangle them, and I had to try. It is not an easy job! Due to the continuing tangled strings issue, the girls lost interest in the puppets?. (I have come up with a solution, but it requires a trip to the hardware store and a re-engineering project that will have to wait until my next visit to see my granddaughters.) Marionettes are a great idea, but these were a big disappointment.

It’s a little hard to control it at first but with practice it gets easier. The stitching is pretty. The hair falls out a little but that’s why you take care of it. Be gentle. I like it a lot. -10 year old son 🙂
