   The good:Mortimer looks just like pictured.Hat is a neat detail and very well madeThe bad:The fabric of the clothes is very cheap. The craftsmanship of the suit is poor. Stitches are sloppy.The vest and blazer are one piece.The not so bad but annoying:The shoes fall off all the time.The blazer/jacket interferes with your hand. You have to literally unbutton the jacket so that you can put your hand in the back, which looks bad. A split back in the jacket (either single or double jacket vent) would solve this problem.

   I bought Mortimer for my son as a birthday present. He absolutely loves his best bud and even won the annual talent contest at his school with Mortimer. The only complaint I have is that Mortimer’s hat will not stay on his head if you move it too much. A little Velcro helped with that. All and all he has been an awesome addition to my sons collection.

   We bought this for our son’s 8th birthday. The day after, its head came off, but that was because my son disconnected it. Not having seen what happened, I worried that it was broken, and I emailed the company. Within two minutes of sending, I got a return phone call, and I was talked through how to fix it. Now, Mortimer is whole again and our son was thrilled. It is a high-quality piece that he loves and is very happy with. We like the dummy, but were really impressed with the quick, friendly, and helpful customer service. THANK YOU!

   The birthday gift of an 8yr olds dreams! I don’t have a lot of experience with dummies but this one lives up to every expectation of his. He did manage to break the rubber band that holds the post down but I was able to tie it and its still usable. But thats with an excited child who carries it everywhere like a baby doll for constant use.

   This is an excellent ventriloquist dummy, perfect for anyone, but especially kids. It’s very well made and easy to operate. Both the head and the mouth move very easily. And on a sidetone, the company that sells them is staffed with very kind people who answered a question I had very quickly and helped to get this shipped in time for a birthday and it arrived as promised. So, it’s not just a very good ventriloquist dummy, it’s a very good company with really nice, honest people. I highly recommend this company and their product.
