I gave this as a gift to my friend’s three year old daughter. My husband was able to put it together in about 10 minutes- and it was a HUGE hit!! The rolling backdrop is too cute! We had a full puppet show within seconds of showing her how to use it!

This is perfect for virtual puppet shows. My grandchildren are on the right coast. I’m on the left. So I invite my 6 year old neighbor to conduct the puppet show (which she loves to do), while I set up the connection. The puppet theater is solidly made of wood, beautifully painted with bright colors, and has a couple of back drops. It easily disassembles for storage. All of the children love it! Me too!

Great value…my grandkids loved it. Easy to put up and take down and the rear backdrop is a plus (this can be turned easily around to change backdrop scenes). My 3 and 5 year old grandkids love it.

Cute and a lot of fun. It would be nice if there were more options for background

My niece loves this set! We gifted it for Christmas, along with some homemade puppets, and she is really enjoying it. I love that the theater promotes imagination!

My 4-year-old grandson likes it. He can put it together by himself which is great.

This will be the first time I’ve given Melissa and Doug products a middle of the road rating because their products are generally well made. The Puppet Theater in theory was a hit with my 3rd. old granddaughter, she could wait to have playtime with it. The assortment of puppets I purchased separately were a fit and she loved them. The issue was the theater assembly. The Theater is wobbly. The wooden dowel/cross beam was too short and kept slipping out of the hole causing the red front curtain to fall down repeatedly and the curtain spinning mechanism didn’t work properly therefore the curtain fell down continually. The backdrop curtain stayed curled up and it would require a light setting ironing to straighten it out. Basically, it’s not ready to play with upon opening. Luckily she was happier with the hand puppets and our pretend play to mitigate the disappointment over the theater structure. I’d recommend the dowel be longer, that might fix the spinning mechanism; provide instructions that the background curtain may need ironing OR make the background curtain the same material as the red theater curtain OR make the background curtain in heavier material.
