TouchΓ© Amazon, touche. Iβll be honest I got this for me with the guise that it was really for my daughter. I had one almost identical about 25yrs ago so when I seen it was dirt cheap, good rating & reviews I was like hellz yea!! Ya know? Well I got it today & itβs about 3x smaller than what I expected/thought itβd be. Itβs a little bigger than the size of my hand. Iβm not a picky person at all & thatβs my karma for being greedy but trying to make it look like I wasnβt so Iβm 100% satisfied with it. Iβm not sure my daughter will be just as satisfied but if weβre being honest, no one asked for her opinion from the beginning about any of this ;-)*UPDATE*I let my daughter open this gift today because she was getting restless after 1 day on Christmas break from school & she loves it. Sheβs named it Sarah. I think in this case, size in fact, does not matter! Yay! I change my 4 stars to 5 βΊοΈ

I saw this marionette and had to have it to play with my 2 year old grand daughter. It reminded me of my childhood, I had one when I was little.It was smaller than the one I had and the βfishing stringβ that was attached to the puppet and the wooden dowels, was only held to the dowels with a little rubber and. It has came apart, 2 of the 4 strings, the first day of getting it. I am going to try to reattach the strings and put it up until the grand baby is bigger. The colors on the marionette are vivid and bright.

The ostrich is very easy to use. And when tangled, very easy to make it right. All appendages have separate strings and are attached to handle via elastics that come off easy to adjust tangles.

I bought it for my 10 year old daughter and my twins who are 3 years old love it too. So I have to buy two more oh and one more for myslef. I love it reminds me of when I was a child our parents made one for us. The best marionette ever! I highly recommend to everyone not just for children but also for adults.
