No one “plays” with it, but that isn’t the purpose. It holds the puppets for the preschoolers nicely. It also doubles as a ring toss. The sticks don’t always stay in their holes, so I’ve considered gluing them, but then they wouldn’t be removable for flat storage when not in use. This one has lasted about a year without breaking. I’ve had others where the sticks broke of at their connection point. It could happen to this one, but no one has been too rough with it yet.

The stand is perfect for the child and adult sized puppets in my classroom. I followed another reviewer’s advice and used wood glue to keep the pegs permanently in place. One note: the picture makes it appear as though the back row is taller than the front row when In fact they are all the same height.

This is a great puppet stand is simple and looks brilliant with nice puppets on it- good size , good height, really easy to assemble and reasonable price. Very easy for children from about 18 months to remove and replace the puppets (the replace might be expecting a bit much in the way of cooperation from the toddler) The only minor negative aspect is that the dowels need to be glued in with a dob of wood or craft glue. I did see a review saying it is not safe but it is very very simple to rectify with a little glue.

I have this in my classroom holding 8 puppets. Works well. Not sure if it would hold up if students were using it, as the dowels just push in.

It worked out great! I read the reviews before hand so I put a little wood glue in the peg holes before putting the sticks that hold the puppets in. Itβs very sturdy

Great quality! I canβt believe that the price is so inexpensive. The puppets look great on it. The sturdiest and nicest finish that I could ask for!

I got 2 of them for my preschool i added some wood glue to the rods while assembling and they are good to display puppets

This was very easy to put together. However, one of the rods was warped and falls out occassionally. Super easy for kids to put puppets back on rack.
